Effect of Elite BPC-157 on wound healing

We have known for a long time how beneficial BPC-157 is. To date, all studies on BPC-157 have demonstrated consistently positive and rapid healing effects for various types of trauma, both chronic and systemic and soft tissue injuries. Due to restricted blood supply, the spontaneous healing of tendons and ligaments is inherently limited due to poor blood supply to these tissues. Poor blood supply slows the rate at which fibroblasts and other healing cells can reach the area of injury and ultimately limits the overall level of repair. One study assessing the therapeutic efficacy of BPC 157 , in particular the effect of BPC 157 on healing after cutting the Achilles tendon (Staresinic 2003) showed that administration of BPC 157 significantly improved treatment outcomes due to an increase in fibroblast density in the case of damage to tendons, ligaments and bones .

The wound-healing effect of BPC-157 related to the protection of the endothelium has been reported in deep skin burns and damaged muscles, tendons, bone ligaments and nerves.

BPC-157 strongly improves muscle and nerve healing after nerve transection without or with anastomosis. Consequently, this means that it may also be suitable for the improvement of the neuromuscular system in connection with disability and erroneous transmission of signals from the nerve to the muscles.

Types of peptide compounds

Many skin care products use peptides for anti-aging. But what are peptides? And do they actually make you look younger?
Peptides , also known as polypeptides, are chains of amino acids. Polypeptides naturally produced in the skin are basically the building blocks of all proteins in the skin. This includes collagen and elastin fibers – the two main proteins responsible for keeping skin smooth, supple and youthful. When natural peptide production declines with age, your skin does not have enough of these essential building blocks to produce collagen and other proteins. As a result, the skin of the face and body becomes looser and inelastic, leading to the formation of wrinkles and fine lines.
Some peptides have the ability to block specific enzyme reactions in the skin. This is extremely beneficial for people looking to lighten their skin tone and remove dark spots.
Certain peptides are also capable of blocking the reaction that produces melanin in the skin. Since melanin is the pigment that gives the skin a darker color, inhibiting it will help maintain a light and even skin tone.
Different types of peptides work in different ways.
  • Carrier peptides – carry trace elements into the skin cells, which not only allows them to function more effectively, but also helps in the healing process of the skin
  • Signal peptides – send signals to skin cells, encouraging them to produce more collagen, elastin, hyaluronic acid and other important substances
  • Enzyme inhibitor peptides – inhibit specific enzyme functions in the skin, such as enzymes that cause dark spots to appear
  • Neurotransmitter peptides – inhibit the mechanisms of muscle contraction in the skin, which relaxes the face and thus smoothes all mimic wrinkles
For example, copper-containing peptides improve regeneration and healing, and increase skin firmness; some pentapeptides stimulate the growth of new collagen; hexapeptides help loosen wrinkles.
Each of us can use peptides to make the skin smoother and firmer. Contrary to many other collagen-enhancing ingredients (retinoids, even vitamin C can often be irritating), what’s more, peptides show no side effects. Rather than causing superficial changes, peptides work at a deeper level, the most significant effects will be visible after a few months because this is how long it takes for your body to make new collagen fibers.

Effect of BPC-157 on sleep

Gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) is the major inhibitory neurotransmitter in the central nervous system where it is widely distributed. In adulthood, GABA takes on an inhibitory function in the nervous system and modulates the function of other organs and systems, including the endocrine and immune systems. GABA dysfunction is responsible for a variety of pathologies, both neurological and non-neurological, and includes epilepsy, anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, endocrine and immune disorders. The GABAergic system is also an essential element in the overall architecture of sleep.
ELITE BPC-157 works for the natural homeostasis of GABA receptors and strengthens GABAergic transmission. It can also help with anxiety by enhancing the GABA neurotransmission. When administered orally , BPC-157 affects the brain directly through the gut-brain axis.
In one study, scientists concluded that the use of BPC-157 could also help with the withdrawal and tolerance of GABAergic drugs such as diazepam, making them more effective. Additionally, as we know, significant sleep disturbances can occur after discontinuation of hypnotics. The use of ELITE BPC-157 supports the return to the natural homeostasis of our system, as a result of which sleep regulation is possible much faster.
